How Much Dumber Can It (Or We) Get?

Just when it seem that our world couldn't get less intelligent, Paris Hilton weighs in on behalf of airheads everywhere. The amazing thing is that Hilton worked without cue cards and memorized her entire script for this "campaign ad." Too bad Paris is only 27 years old and doesn't qualify as a presidential candidate because of her age. She makes as much sense as our current version of Dumb and Dumber. (Dumbest is already in the White House.) If this is (fair & balanced) low mental capability, so be it.

Which Candidate Gets Rat's Vote? Pig's Vote?

It seems that both of the presumptive presidential candidates are engaged in a Stupidity Race. Who can be dumber? Answer: the voters. If this is (fair & balanced) cynicism, so be it.

[Attorney-cum-cartoonist Stephan Pastis sketches this nuanced comic strip tale, which features the arrogant, self-centered, and totally hilarious Rat, who leads his four-legged friends through misadventure after misadventure. Joining him for the journey are Pig, the slow but good-hearted conscience of the strip; Goat, the voice of reason that often goes unheard; and Zebra and the eternally inept Crocodiles who pursue him. Together this mindful menagerie mocks the flaws and shortcomings of human nature through Pastis's cynically biting wit.]
