Today, despite the mysterious absence of Dr. Wilbur von Philbert (Tom Tomorrow's in-house scientist or quack-scientist) that is stuff for conspiracy fantasies, Tom Tomorrow (Dan Perkins) ascribes an unexplained "explosion in the fabric of time" that scatters various events from the 2016 presidential campaign into other time periods. In the second panel, a pair of 21st century talking heads describe the earliest campaign expectation of a race between The Hillster and The Jebster in a report that comes from the Mesozoic Era (66 or 252 million years ago). The remaining panels show comparable campaign incidents appearing in earlier times. The exception comes with panels five and six portraying the distant future (5) and the present (6), respectively. The last panel has two Canadian Mounted Police bemoaning their own national election of 2015 that lasted 11 weeks, start to finish. If this is a (fair & balanced) graphic portrayal of the relativity of time, so be it.
