On Valentine's Day, 2019, William Barr was sworn in as Attorney General of the United States of America. It is his second act as Attorney General; he was Attorney General (1991-1993) in the elder Bush administration. Barr has served several administrations in a variety of staff positions after he spent two years with the Central Intelligence Agency. Barr and POTUS 41 (elder Bush) and Barr both had numerous common relationships with CIA personnel and Barr held a staff position in St. Dutch's (Reagan) second-term administration where he provided advice to both St. Dutch and VP (Bush the Elder) during the Iran-Contra investigation conducted by Special Prosecutor Lawrence Walsh (1986-1992). There is a pattern here that makes the appointment of Barr as Attorney General by the Horse's A$$ in the Oval Office seem almost inevitable. St. Dutch and Bush the Elder both harbored private thoughts about potential impeachment proceedings connected to the Iran-Contra affair. William Barr and the Horse's A$$ have many things in common: dealing with potential obstruction of justice charges and impeachment-avoidance strategies. Finally, Barr has experience with presidential pardons when Bush the Elder got Caspar Weinberger, St. Dutch's Defense Secretary, out of the federal slammer for perjury and obstruction of justice during the Iran-Contra investigation. This makes the appointment of William Barr as the 85th Attorny General as a measure of the desperation in the current Oval Office. If this is the (fair & balanced) backstory of internecine machinations between the White House and Special Prosecutors, so be it.

Once more you’re head of Justice, William Barr.
In your career you’ve surely traveled far.
But now we’re going to see just who you are:
If told to fold, will you say au revoir
Or will you then your reputation tar
By playing lackey to a would-be czar? ###
