Today's Tom Tomorrow 'Toon Perfectly Illustrates Why This Blogger Does Not Listen/Watch Talking-Head News

In yesterday's 'toon-delivery email, Tom/Dan also wrote:

Hey all,

I did it everyone, I managed to write an entire cartoon without veering into a tangent about the latest thing Trump did! I mean, Trump did a lot last week, and I was *sorely* tempted by the Trump/Barr kayfabe (a very useful word from the world of wrestling, in case you're unfamiliar with it), in which Barr pretended to be Extremely Independent and of course most of the serious pundits bought it hook, line and sinker. But with steely discipline and iron resolve, I managed to keep focused on the Democratic race, at least for this one single week.

NEW YORKERS, I am taking part in a group cartoonist reading/presentation thing at Greenlight Books in Brooklyn this coming Thursday at 7:30. It will be fun and I strongly encourage you to attend! Mention that you’re a subscriber and I’ll have a sticker for you!

The most disgusting part of this blogger's day is overhearing "the news" on radio or TV. Most of it is bloviating drivel with a delivery of non-news or presidential lying to the camera. The blogger does listen to NPR and BBC newscasts. but any of the so-called political outlets... NO! This personal boycott will continue as long as the *ILK (*Impeached [But Not Removed] Lyin; King) remains in the White House. If this is a (fair & balanced) mental health precaution, so be it.
