The DC Fishwrap's senior editorial cartoonist, Tom Toles, has put away his pen and is movin' on. The old blogger of Sapper's (Fair & Balanced) Rant's & Raves has moved on, too... with a new mailing address. After 13 years in the same place, the old blogger has moved into a new residence in a 5-story apartment complex that is open only to age 60-or-older residents. The glassed-in walkin shower has anti-fall railings on all three solid walls in an example of age-proofing. This is the blogger's absence excuse since October 29, 2020 (moving day) and two days of unpacking and getting TV and Internet installed. So, all that is left are boxes yet to empty and an incredible amount of recyclable packing paper. And it is good to be back. If this is a (fair & balanced) account of the cycle of life in the 21st century, so be it.
