Rat is on a first date with the red-haired Xmas Tree Girl (a female rat wearing a Santa hat) and she discovers that he is wearing clown shoes. Rat is the penultimate cynic, yet even he can be humiliated. If this is (fair & balanced) truthiness, so be it.
