Tom Tomorrow Provides A DYI-Explantation Of The Never-Ending Nightmare That Is Our Reality

Today's 'toon arrived sans comment from the 'toonist. Explanations are futile. This blogger can only hope for something from Tom/Dan next week. In the meantime, this blogger's comments the horseback opinions of a regular reader of "This Modern World." In today's seven panels that offer varying explanations of "What the hell is going on" in the words of the current occupant of the Oval Office. This imaginary survey begins with the possibility that these times are associated with random brain activity during a comatose state — "Just A Dream." In the second panel, TMW's mad professor, Dr. Wilbur von Philbert, attempts to explain the current national nighmare as a gigantic computer simulation gone awry. If that doesn't work for you, the third panel suggests a real-time warp of reality due to a Hadron Collider mishap. The dismal events have been created by cyberoutlaws in the fourth panel. And in panels five and six, two theological explanation are offered in nightmarish scenarios. The final panel offers the possibility that we are toast — the political system is brokwn beyond repair. And there you have it — (fair & balanced) alternative explanations of the present-day bizarre events.
