The Moving-Lips Rule For Ventriloquists, Dumbos, Morons, & Media Talking Heads

Back in the days prior to passage of the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare), this blogger opined in an e-mail to a correspondent that there already was an individual mandate: proof of auto insurance coverage is REQUIRED for license plate renewals and vehicle inspection renewals. Also, the first thing a traffic officer asks for — in addition to an operator's license and a vehicle registration certificate — IS A PROOF OF AUTO INSURANCE COVERAGE. Where is the Dumbo/Moron outrage at this unholy alliance between the state government and the auto insurance industry? The correspondent replied to this blogger that the auto insurance requirement was a STATE, not FEDERAL, requirement. Hmmm. You say "toe-may-toe" and this blogger says "toe-mah-toe." In other words, a government requirement is a government requirement, whether local, state, or national. As far as the Healthcare.gov site is concerned, this blogger knows that a web site NEVER operates perfectly in its first iteration. Or, its second. Or, its third, yada yada yada. The Dumbos/Morons and their fellow-travelers in the lamestream media have howled their outrage at the glitches in the web site at rollout. Then, the POTUS 44 gave assurances that were not exactly true about existing health insurance coverage. OK, the POTUS misspoke. If there is is a Dumbo or a Moron has never told an untruth, let him or her cast the first stone. Otherwise, the virtual stoning of Dumbos/Morons will continue in this blog. This blogger has one rule about Dumbos and Morons: the loons are lyin' if their lips are moving. If this is a (fair & balanced) cyber-adventure, so be it.
