More Proof That Patriotism The Last Refuge Of A Scoundrel...

Hello, boys and girls. Welcome to the Funny Papers section of this blog. Tom Tomorrow (Dan Perkins) called Central Casting for some of the renegade black and white cattle made famous by the Chick-fil-A TV commercials with the punch line signs that read "Eat Mor Chickin' " and end with a "Moo!" Tom Tomorrow must have nixed those signs for today's 'toon. The cattle follow the renegade scofflaw rancher (Cliven Bundy) who has become a hero to the gun-nut Dumbos/Morons in his dispute with the Bureau of Land Management in NV. Bundy, a Moron on horseback, has allowed his cattle to feed on grass (and whatever) in northeastern Nevada for the past 21 years without paying the required fees for grazing on public land. Bundy has made this tax defiance into an anti-Fed cover for his extensive fraud. In Tom Tomorrow's alternate universe, Bundy's cattle belong in a Chick-fil-A commercial as the cattle follow the crook to the top of the Empire State Building. In the last panel, Bundy is takin' his mottled friends to the Statue of Liberty. Actually, the Holstein cattle ought to file for election in Nevada for 2016. A Holstein is way ahead of the Dumbos/Morons by any mental measure. If this is (fair & balanced) bovine wisdom, so be it. Vote Moo!
