If Great-Grandma (Bush) Ain't Happy, Ain't Nobody Happy

"The Enforcer" — aka Barbara Pierce Bush — is the wife of a former president (POTUS 41) and the mother of another (POTUS 43). In the end, "The Enforcer" may have more sense than any of her brood. No dynasties: no more Clintons, no more Kennedys, no more Obamas, and... no more Bushes. "The Enforcer" proclaimed this new doctrine on NBC's "Today Show" during coverage of the opening of the new Presidential Center (not Library) in north Dallas on the SMU campus. Both the daughter-in-law and the twin granddaughters of "The Enforcer" were part of the same panel and the younger women were taken aback by "The Enforcer's" read-my-lips bluntness. However, that's a crazy old great-grandma for you; no telling what wackiness will be uttered. However, "The Enforcer" deserves the Presidential Medal of Freedom for candor and putting country before her family. Of course, the main recipient of the virtual back of "The Enforcer's" hand was her second son, John Ellis "Jeb" Bush, the former governor of Florida. "No more Bushes" targeted The Jebster. Ouch. If this is a (fair & balanced) display of parental priorities, so be it.

We’ve had enough Bushes, the matriarch said.
We certainly don’t need another.
And Jeb, who was meant to have George’s at-bat,
Smiles weakly once more at his mother.
