The past week, in national news, has been like a week in a rubber room filled with lunatics. Tom Tomorrow (Dan Perksin) explicateds> in a brief papragraph:
If you spend any time on Twitter, you’ll have noticed people arguing that topic A is a distraction from topic B, which is a distraction from topic C. It’s understandable! We’re being innundated with terribleness right now — someone, I don’t remember who, called it a Denial of Service attack on democracy itself. It's hard to keep up. For this cartoon, it was hard to narrow them down comprehensively. For instance, you may notice that the wiretapping controversy is not mentioned -- I thought about that one but decided it was already contained within "Trump's latest horrifyingly unhinged tweet," and would be redundant.
If this is a weary (fair & balanced) DNS-request for the Oval Office, so be it.
