In today's 'toon, Tom Tomorrow goes back in time to the Sunday after September 12, 1962, when President John F. Kennedy proclaimed that the United Sates would send men to the moom and bring them back safely. The ;toon focuses on the lamestream media commentariat of the early 1960s. The consensus was derisive. However, US astronauts landed in the moon on July 20, 1969, in a giant leap for mankind that fulfilled the earlier JFK pledge. And that, boys and girls, is how we got Tang. If this is (fair & balanced) mockery of stupidity, so be it.
