Comique Dessins Noir

Do not adjust your monitor. Tom Tomorrow gives us The Flatster (aka Thomas L. Friedman, author of The World Is Flat [2005]) as a classic film noir private eye. The Flatster also is a NY Fishwrap Op-Ed columnist and Tom Tomorrow's satire was triggered by The Flatster's recent (7/26/11) column in the NY Fishwrap: "Can't We Do This Right?" wherein The Flatster launched a trial balloon for a third party. Somehow, this blogger can't imagine Christopher Nolan losing any sleep at the thought of The Flatster as noir gumshoe. If this is (fair & balanced) hardboiled blogging, so be it.
