The Ghost Of Muses Past

Of all of the Muses: Calliope (Epic poetry), Clio (History), Erato (Love poetry), Euterpe (Flutes and lyric poetry), Melpomene (Tragedy), Polyhymnia (Sacred poetry), Terpsichore (Dance), Thalia (Comedy and pastoral poetry), and Urania (Astronomy), this blogger would claim Clio. (Unfortunately, the advertising industry has named its annual award for the best commercial ads — the Clio.) The best that The Big Doofus can do in the way of muses is Ayn Rand (a denigrator of St. Dutch). Pity the fool. If this is (fair & balanced) exposure of posturing ignorance, so be it.
