Handy Andy Borowitz Reveals A Double-Standard Involving An FBI Investigation

The funniest line in the entire jape offered today by Handy Andy Borowitz is the fact that the current occupant of the Oval Office asked Kellyanne Con-job to read a sign (recently affixed to the Oval Office door) to read the words to him and became enraged when his PR assistant told him that the sign said, "It says, 'Entering Crazytown, USA,' Mr. President." The occupant went nuts and indirectly demanded a FBI treason investigation to identify the sign-maker. Of course, two weeks later, the current occupant refused to involve the FBI in the most recent mess in the worst presidential administration in history — L'Affaire Kavanaugh. If this is a (fair & balanced) illustration of "It's all a matter of whose ox is being gored," so be it.

Donald J. Trump demanded on Friday that Attorney General Jeff Sessions investigate who put a sign reading “Entering Crazytown, USA” on the door to the Oval Office.

Trump reportedly noticed the sign for the first time Friday morning, and became enraged after asking Kellyanne Conway, the counsellor to the President, to read what it said to him.

According to White House insiders, determining the creator of the sign could prove difficult, because between seventy and a hundred White House staffers have been known to use the word “Crazytown” to describe their work environment.

“Whoever put that sign on my door has committed treason against the United States,” Trump told reporters, before turning away and revealing that someone had put a Post-it reading “President Stupidpants” on his back. # # #
