On the day after celebrating his 58th birthday, Dan Perkins (Tom Tomorrow) wrote:
Hey all
I wrote this 'toon a couple weeks ago, but it got bumped due to the Mueller report (which, I will continue to note, we have yet to see). Turned out to be fortuitous to have an extra one on hand, as this week got hectic, due to various things, one of which was my [58th] birthday on Friday. I threw myself a party and celebrated in the company of close friends. It's been a year and a half since everything that I thought was solid in my life collapsed beneath me, and things are finally starting to feel a little more normal. It was a good evening. And now, the passage of another year around the sun has been duly marked, and it's onward to another week ...

So, a belated Happy Birthday to the best cartoonist who has ever appeared in this blog. If this is (fair & balanced) admiration of our best political cartoonist, so be it because the 'toon speaks for itself.
