Today, A Demonstration Of Circular Reasoning

The Great Wikipedia teaches us:

Circular reasoning (Latin: circulus in probando, "circle in proving"; also known as paradoxical thinking or circular logic), is a logical fallacy in which "the reasoner begins with what he or she is trying to end up with." The components of a circular argument are often logically valid because if the premises are true, the conclusion must be true. However, the argument is useless because the conclusion is one of the premises. Circular logic cannot prove a conclusion because, if the conclusion is doubted, the premise which leads to it will also be doubted. Begging the question is a form of circular reasoning.

Tom Tomorrow teaches a lesson about circular reasoning, Moron-style. The loons follow C. Cruz and his government shutdown solution to all problems. If this is a (fair & balanced) illustration of repeating the same error and expecting a different result every time, so be it.
