Q: Why Is The ILK (Impeached Lyin' King) Unbelievable? A: Because He NEVER Tells The Truth!

In the e-mail that delivered today's TMW 'toon, the 'toonist (Tom Tomorrow/Dan Perkins) wrote:

Hey all,

This cartoon is kind of a holding pattern — the Parnas stuff was definitely news, but until impeachment gets under way, we’re all basically waiting to see what happens now. Or maybe more realistically, what particular strategy McConnell chooses to get through the whole thing with as little damage to Trump as possible at this point.

Just to be clear, the implication that Trump will throw Rudy under the bus is not based on any current news story — I’m just hypothesizing based on, you know, everything Trump has ever done and how he has consistently treated associates who become inconvenient.

The final panel is probably too obvious, but what can I say, it gave me a good way out of the cartoon.

If only there was a "good way" to get out of this damnable mess that is the US government, but that is not the hand we've been dealt. We must remove the ILK (Impeached Lyin' King) at the ballot box on November 3, 2020. The forces that support The ILK in the Oval Office will be back in force during the campaign months and they will stoop to any means to reelect The ILK. The Resistance must unite in the common cause to defeat The ILK on Election Day. If this is a (fair & balanced) portrayal of our rendezvous with destiny, so be it.
