Wacky Washington!

Tom Tomorrow is energized by the struggle between the HeeHaws and the Dumbos to avoid a shutdown of the federal government. This is an opportunity for MiddleMan (aka the POTUS 44) to confront Captain Orange (the hypertanned Dumbo Speaker of the House — John Boner of OH). Chiming in from the lunatic fringe is the Queen of the Teabaggers: Wingnut Woman (Michele Bachmann, Dumbo from MN). Wingnut Woman wears spangled tights under her colonial getup with teabags dangling from her tricorne. The only thing nuttier than Captain Orange and Wingnut Woman was Dumbo House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) proclaiming that a House Resolution doesn't need the approvals of the Senate or the president to become law. For the benefit of ALL Dumbos, here is an old "Schoolhouse Rock" classic:

"Schoolhouse Rock! — Just A Bill"

No wonder the GOP faithful are called Dumbos in this blog! Instead of shutting down the federal government, the Dumbos (and Teabaggers) should just SHUT UP! If this is a (fair & balanced) wish, so be it.
