This blog has both an artist-in-residence (Tom Tomorrow/Dan Perkins) and a poet-in-residence (The Deadline Poet/Calvin Trillin) and their wit and insight gives this joint some class. It goes without saying that this blog is a little island of nonsense in a world going mad. If this is (fair & balanced) evasion of grim reality, so be it.
