The Austin fishwrap doesn't carry "Boondocks" in the Sunday funnies. Before Christmas, Huey Freeman distressed poor Jazmine DuBois to such a degree that her daddy confronted Huey about his false stories about Santa Claus. Of course, Huey had the final word on falsehood and Santa Claus. Now, he is back tormenting Jazmine about the Cookie Monster (eating disorder) and the Care Bear (mauling a child). Jazmine falls for it every time. Give me "Boondocks" over "Peanuts" and "The Family Circus" every time. If this is (fair & balanced) irony, so be it.
Huey Freeman is tormenting Jazmine DuBois again. Jazmine is naive and Huey can send her over the edge every time.
