What!?!?! "Doonesbury's" Letting Up On Poppy?

Today's "Doonesbury" is delicious. Garry Trudeau has portrayed presidents in varying ways. Reagan was just a voice coming out of the White House. George H.W. Bush (41 or Poppy to Dub) was the invisible man (a floating asterisk), unable to take a position on anything, who had his manhood placed in a blind trust. Clinton was portrayed as a floating waffle with butter dripping off. Dub (43) is portrayed now as a floating, battered Roman centurion's helmet. Before Dub's amazing Iraqi adventure, Dub was portrayed as a floating cowboy hat. Today, Trudeau returned to Poppy. Mark Slackmyer (a member of the 'toon's cast) seems to suggest that the floating asterisk is being retired. (Because Poppy is a giant compared to Dub?) If this is (fair & balanced) wit, so be it.
