The Dog-Day Doldrums

Sparky The Wonder Penguin says more in two sentences than all of the blathering talking heads and pundits have provided in all of these long, dreary days of our discontent. Speaking of blather and bombast, today's NY Fishwrap provided a trifecta of punditry.

First, The Kamikaze (Michiko Kakutani) rips Thomas Frank's latest book, The Wrecking Crew; read her snarky review by clicking on this hyperlink.

Second, The BoBoBoy (David Brooks) is cheered by The Geezer's performance of late; read his pro-Geezer, Op-Ed snark by clicking on this hyperlink.

Finally, The Bobster (Bob Herbert) tears into The Geezer as TR Redux; read this anti-Geezer, Op-Ed snark by clicking on this hyperlink.

Ah, this technology is wonderful. Vannevar Bush would be proud of this use of hypertext. Ol' Vannevar would be less proud of another Bush (no relation). Tom Tomorrow nails The Dubster once again. If this is (fair & balanced) deep linking, so be it.
