Get The Kleenex Or A Hanky

What a difference another season makes. Last eve, this blogger watched the Texas Technique Red Faiders (as they are known to him) play their second game of the season in a near-empty United Spirit Arena in Lubbock. The Faiders won the game, but lost big-time with all of the empty seats. Flash back to last season and a full house to watch The Faiders play the Iowa State Aggies (now Cyclones). The major event of the evening was the (usually) pro forma performance of the national anthem. This time, 5 little girls rocked the house with an A capella rendition of Francis Scott Off-Key's song. If this is a (fair & balanced) emotional response, so be it.
