My Friends (at the risk of channeling The Geezer), this blog needs a quote by Richard Hofstadter from The Age Of Reform wherein the great historian defines "myth." Hofstadter did this in a footnote early in the first chapter of the book. Any replies can be directed to this blogger using this link. TIA. If this is (fair & balanced) chagrin, so be it.
