Roll Over, RoboCop — Meet Officer Unfriendly Of The Ferguson (MO) Police Department

The entire world got a preview of militarized police following the Boston Marathon bombing. Entire neighborhoods instantly became free-fire zones. Now, the police in Ferguson, MO have provided another demonstration of a military response to a Missouri-style Infitada. Tear gas and rubber bullets came into use when Ferguson's Thin Blue Line was confronted by civilian rioters. What's next? Drones and Hellfire missiles? "Use 'em or lose 'em" is the motto o'the day when dealing with The Department of Defense Excess Property Program's distribution of surplus military equipment to state and local law enforcement agencies for use in counter-terrorism and counter-narcotic activities. The Ferguson Police Department probably has received a re-supply of rubber bullets and tear gas canisters. If this is a (fair & balanced) national disgrace, so be it.
