In The Age Of Instant Replay, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell Is Guilty Of Late Hits On Everyone!

The National Football League has hit a rough patch and the fumbles (cases of domestic violence and child-abuse) just keep rolling out. An aggrieved nation turns its angry eyes on the NFL Commissioner; Roger Goodell is judge, jury, and executioner in the autumn circus known as pro football. The teams in the league who must juggle the hot potato/potatoes of abusers engage in a comic opera of "play on" or "suspended for two games" or "suspended for life." If this is a (fair & balanced) mirror of our age, so be it.

Absent video, how could Goodell
Be expected for certain to tell?
So he figured that, not feeling well
From the flu, say, this mademoiselle
Might have suffered a brief fainting spell,
From which slowly but surely she fell.

And then her husband dragged her out of the
elevator, dumped her on the floor, and walked away. Ω
