Today, The Deadline Poet Gets A Slight Correction In This Blog

The Deadline Poet goes after the craven managers of SONY Pictures.... Wait! Hold the phones! The cancellation of the opening of "The Interview" has been resolved (to a degree). The stoner comedy will open today here in the capital of Texas, but not in any of the mainline commercial theaters. The Alamo Drafthouse (a chain of theaters — in Austin and elsewhere — offering both commercial and indie films) is showing "The Interview" today and several of the local venues are sold out — according to Alamo Drafthouse. So, take that, you North Korean fiends. If this is (fair & balanced) cinematic jingoism, so be it.
