My students in Summer II 2003 just submitted this term's contributions to the Glossary I maintain for all of my students. It is a faint shadow of Ambrose Bierce's The Devil's Dictionary because it consists of words, phrases, and the like that I utter during a typical, survey, history course at Amarillo College. I invite students to contribute terms and definitions that might help future students (How long, O Lord?) make their way through the minefield that is one of my classes. For a glimpse at the Glossary, go to
Amarillo College WebCT
and use stuviewo1 for both login and password. You will need to scroll down through all of the courses using the WebCT course management software until you come to HIST 1302-004. Once in my WebCT (CT=Course Tools) materials, use the Course Menu to go to the Glossary. Select View All and you will be able to view the entries from A to Z.
Happy Trails.
